About Aligarh Muslim University

Aligarh Muslim University, also known as AMU, is a renowned public university established in 1920 in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. The university is a member of AIU (Association of Indian Universities) and its courses are approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC). AMU is accredited with an A+ Grade by NAAC and offers over 300 courses at undergraduate, postgraduate, doctorial, and diploma levels in various fields including Sciences, Social Sciences, Humanities, Medicine, Engineering, and Management among others. The university also provides distance education through The Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE).
