The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Bhopal was established in 2012 and is part of a network of seven apex healthcare institutions initiated by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana.
