Bharati College, (BC) Delhi Overview
Bharati Institution, a top and distinguished women’s college, was founded as Bharati Mahila College as a constituent college with permanent affiliation to the University of Delhi by the Delhi Administration on September 20, 1971. As the name implies, it centred on women’s education and development, providing a safe area for female students to express themselves and study. The institution thinks that its students’ social and humanitarian participation is a defining characteristic.
It began operations on the grounds of a Government Senior Secondary School for Boys on Karol Bagh’s Link Road. The foundation was laid by a group of two hundred and forty-one students and a team of thirteen teaching personnel from six disciplines. The National Service Scheme has a highly active cell at the College, as well as a very talented and eager National Cadet Corps wing.
