The world of art never ceases to fascinate and students enter this sector with the hopes of making money, gaining recognition, and achieving self-satisfaction. This is only achievable if you have a strong grasp of the arts. This is especially true in arts involving performance, such as music, dancing, athletics, or painting. Excellent success in these domains is not based on degrees, but rather on having the appropriate information, which can only be obtained from a skilled instructor or guru. The College of Art was founded in 1942 to provide advanced study in visual art, both artistic and applied, resulting in the Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and the Master of Fine Arts degree.

The college provides courses in most media of Visual Art, including Creative and Applied Art, at the graduate and Monstro levels. Master of Fine Art in Applied Art, Art History, Printmaking, Sculpture, and Visual Communication are among the options. It provides art technique instruction with a focus on studio and outdoor practicals, specified theoretical courses, and research in specific domains. Our efforts to distinguish between education that teaches people how to make a living and education that teaches people how to live are highlighted in the College’s annual exhibition, where one can see the mature juxtaposition of this view in either a portrait, a sculpture, or an advertisement campaign.

Practical studio work, the study of specified theory courses, and research in specific domains are prioritised. The Faculty consists of nationally and internationally renowned practising artists, painters, sculptors, and graphic designers, as well as a select group of professors who enrich the teaching programmes with their expertise, offering teachers the chance to discuss and interact with distinguished and modern artists, designers, and entrepreneurs.
