The University of Delhi’s Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College is a constituent college. The institution was founded at Karampura by the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi in 1990. The college is funded entirely by the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi and is accredited under Sections 2(f) and 12(b) of the UGC Act. On the second floor of C block, the Campus includes a centrally air-conditioned Computer Centre with a capacity of roughly 200 users to encourage network-based knowledge and learning. The ICT infrastructure includes a server, PCs, and a gigabit fibre backbone that enables dedicated Internet access through WLAN (Wi-Fi) and LAN 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

On our new site, the college includes a fantastic central library that spans three stories. It has a total floor space of 2,550 square metres, including a teaching staff reading room and a large reading hall that can seat over 250 pupils. The library contains a total of 42,456 textbooks and reference books in its collection. Each of the college’s scientific departments includes a Research Laboratory that allows academics to work on research projects. A central shared instrumentation facility will also be available.

The institution contains twelve well-designed lecture halls with seating capacities of 70 people each, 36 lecture rooms with seating capacities of 40-60 people each, and two seminar rooms with seating capacities of 100-150 people each. Each hall is also equipped with the most up-to-date audiovisual teaching tools. The College features three computer labs with about 140 machines with the most up-to-date configurations, as well as internet access via the Delhi University optical fibre link. The labs will be fully equipped with the most up-to-date multimedia technology, including LCD projectors, as well as capabilities for video, image, animation, sound, and authoring tools.
