CHARUSAT, officially known as Charotar University of Science and Technology, is a state private university located in Anand, Gujarat. It was established under the Gujarat Act No. 8 of 1995 and is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under Section 22 of the UGC Act, 1956.
